Alan Melton co-founded and served as CEO of a company that he grew from 2 employees to 130 employees with .5 million in sales and profits in excess of .5 million per year. The company was listed in several national and local publications as one of the fastest-growing, privately-held companies in the country. It joined a distinguished list of large recipients such as Merrill Lynch, the Ritz-Carlton, Honeywell, and Omni Hotel as the recipient of the coveted Sterling Governor’s Award for organizational performance excellence. When Alan ultimately sold the business to a publicly-held company he gave million to his employees. Alan is married to Donna Melton and they reside in Landrum, SC. They have two children and are involved in the community. Alan mentored juvenile delinquents for 15 years and has presided over national and local boards and committees. He is an avid reader of titles on business leadership and management, investing, real estate, politics, theology, philosophy, and spirituality. He is an avid music lover. He enjoys working out, hiking and healthy eating!
